Hyma Plastic is a private shareholder company founded by Eng. Mohamed Fahmy Ahmed & Eng. Samy Mohamed Fahmy Ahmed in Gesr El Suez, Cairo, Egypt in 1975. Hyma Plastic began the journey in industrial packaging, by 1988 production of Agriculture films hit the market, which was followed in 1994 by the introduction of our geomembrane liners. In 2006 we started production in the flexible packaging field & most recently entered the construction markets.
In 2019 Hyma Plastic expanded its product portfolio by introducing a series of new products that range from cardboard cores to construction films. Today we offer four ranges of products that serve over 40 industries from mega projects to local businesses.

In 2022 a new, state-of-the-art plant was constructed in SIDC Industrial area helping us move towards a more sustainable future. Today, Hyma Plastic has over 30 production lines & is the leading polyethylene manufacturer in the Middle East & African Market with the capacity of producing over 68,000 tons per year.
